  • The WILD ROSE GRAND PRIX is organized recreational racing only.

  • CLASSES - Pro (Open), Expert (Open), Novice (Open), Women’s (Open), Vet (40+), Masters (60+)

  • BOUNTY RULES - Racers that beat the Bounty in their class are entered into a drawing that pays out at race end. If nobody beats the bounty racers, THEY take the bounty!

  • BOUNTIES

  • PRO POOL EVENT PAYOUT - 100% (80% paid to podium finishers at event and remaining 20% goes into season championship pot)

  • FORMAT - Dead Start - 3x 30min (approx.) motos

  • PRIZES - Season winners will be awarded trophies at season end BANQUET

  • SPONSORS - Advertise any local business or charity.

  • ALCOHOL - No alcohol consumption permitted by racers.

  • The Wild Rose Grand Prix is 8 rounds of organized recreational grand prix racing.

    1. Feb 15 - Opening Round (THE FROZEN ROSE) at Blondies Legacy in Cottonwood, ID

    2. Apr 13 - Round 2 at Hidden Thorn in Kamiah, ID

    3. June 1 - Round 3 at Thompson Ranch in Orofino, ID

    4. June 7 - Round 4 at Fossil Bowl in Clarkia, ID

    5. June 14/15 - Round 5 at Ridge Runners MX in Orofino, ID

    6. July 12 - Round 6 at Blondies Legacy in Cottonwood, ID

    7. Aug 16 - Round 7 at Smith’s Pond in Weippe, ID

    8. Sept 1 - Round 8 at Hidden Thorn in Kamiah, ID

  • RACE FORMAT - Each round is made up of 3 motos that are approximately 30 minutes (or slightly more) in length.

  • SCORING - We use triple crown scoring with a 26 point max. DNF’s get last place points. DNS’s get zero. One moto must be started to qualify for a DNF.

  • THROW AWAY ROUNDS - Top 6 (of 8) rounds count towards the Individual Wild Rose Grand Prix Championship. This offers better flexibility in case of breakdowns, injury, or missed rounds.

  • PRO POOL - Pros can REGISTER and race in the Expert Class for free/donation but to be eligible for the pro payout they must contribute $75 to the pro pool at check in. 80% goes to event payout pool paid out at race completion and 20% goes to series payout pool paid out at end of season. In order to be eligible for Series Championship Payout pros must contribute to pro pool and compete in pro class in at least 6 (of 8) rounds.

  • EVENT/SERIES SPLIT - Top three split pool 50/35/15.

  • CLASSES - Pro, Expert, Vet (40+), Novice, Masters (60+), Women’s, Youth (15 & Under on 85’s or bigger)

  • GROUPS - Depending on class sizes we will generally split the races into two groups. Group A is Pro, Expert, and Vet classes and Group B is Novice, Masters, Women, and Youth classes. They will alternate back and forth.
