  • The Wild Rose Hill Climb Series is 4 rounds of organized recreational climbing.

1. Apr 12/13 - at Hidden Thorn in Kamiah, ID

2. May 31/June 1 - at Thompson Ranch in Orofino, ID

3. June 14/15 - at Ridge Runner Ranch MX in Orofino, ID

4. Aug 31/Sept 1 - CHAMPIONSHIP at Hidden Thorn in Kamiah, ID

  1. FORMAT - Each round will include a hill with 2 routes - 1 easy and 1 difficult (for double points). Every climber gets 3 Runs and they can choose any combination of routes they want to maximize points.

  2. THROW AWAY ROUNDS - Top 3 (of 4) rounds count towards the Individual Wild Rose Hill Climb Championship. This offers better flexibility in case of breakdowns, injury, or missed rounds.

  3. EVENT SCORING - Traditional height/time format.

  4. CLIMB ORDER - First climb goes in order of sign up. Second climb is reversed.

  6. CLASSES - 8 Classes - All Open

    1. 2-Stroke Small Bore (125cc and under)

    2. 2-Stroke Big Bore (126cc and over)

    3. 4-Stroke Small Bore (250cc and under)

    4. 4-Stroke Big Bore (251cc and over)

    5. Unlimited (Anything goes if it has two wheels)

    6. Youth (13-15 years old)

    7. Youth (9-12 years old)

    8. Youth (8 and under)

Event Info

  • TYPE - This is recreational racing only.

  • COST - 100% Donation Based race and spectator fees. Just donate what ever you can afford and save the rest for birthday and Christmas presents! We’d never turn a kid (or parent) away simply because of a lack of funds!

  • PRIZES - Top three get placement posters

  • EQUIPMENT - Minimum of full face helmet, lace up boots (hiking boots that cover the ankles), long sleeve shirt, and goggles.

  • Please, please, PLEASE ride/drive slow between races. Again, this is a family event so there are children around.

  • SUPERVISION - Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Please, please, PLEASE drive/ride slow in the pit areas.

  • ATV/UTV’s - No atv/utvs are allowed on the race track while races are running. Golf carts and related type buggies are considered ATVs.

  • ALCOHOL - Participants are not allowed to be drinking.

  • GARBAGE - Pack out what you pack in.

  • DUMPING - No dumping of camper's "black water" tanks.

  • FIRES - Unless otherwise posted, no fires. If you’re caught starting a fire (even a small one) you will be asked to leave the property.

  • PETS - No pets. There are to many children and loud noises so please leave your pets at home.

  • PG13 - This is a family friendly environment but don’t expect everyone to act like nuns.
